Rice pudding, Cold or hot?

If you wondering whether you should eat Rice pudding Cold or Hot, we’ve got the answer. It comes down to what you like and what you are used to. You can choose whatever you like, but every case has its own characteristics.

The only thing is that the rice pudding will thicken when it’s cold, which may be better to add more liquid when you make it.

How to make Rice Pudding in Instant Pot.

In the inner pot, add rice and rinse it over cold water, and don’t forget to rub the rice with your hands, it’s very important.

Add the cinnamon stick to the pot and mix it for a little bit. Then close the lid, and pressure cook at high pressure for a period of 5 minutes. After that let the pressure release naturally for 10 minutes.

Mix the eggs with sea salt, vanilla and sugar during the time when the rice is cooking. Pour the milk to the mixture and mix very well.

Add the milk mixture to the cooked rice and bring it to a simmer. Use a spatula to stir occasionally until the rice pudding heats up. For a more creamy texture add a tablespoon of unsalted butter. When the rice pudding becomes as you like ( smooth, thick or creamy), turn off the heat.

The last step is sprinkling cinnamon powder on top with some raisins. Then serve the rice pudding hot or cold.
