Homemade Almond Milk is delicious and easier to make all you need is 2 ingredients, it's dairy-free and vegan-friendly

- 1 cup raw almonds (soaked overnight)
- 4 cups cold filtered water (plus more for soaking)
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1 tablespoon maple syrup, honey, or 1 to 2 soaked and pitted dates
- pinch of sea salt
Instructions
- Once the almonds have soaked overnight, drain and rinse them. Next, place the almonds in a high-powered blender with the water and any optional ingredients.
- Blend the mixture on high speed for 2 minutes, or until it reaches a creamy consistency.
- Strain the almond milk using a nut-milk bag or several layers of cheesecloth into a bowl or large measuring cup.
- Transfer the almond milk into an airtight container and store it in the refrigerator for up to 3 days.

1. Use a high-powered blender to ensure a smooth, creamy texture.
2. Store almond milk in a sealed container for up to 5 days, shaking well before serving.
3. Substitute dates with honey or maple syrup for a different sweetness profile.
